Enable/Disable 2FA (Two Factor Authentication)

Enabling 2FA allows you to protect your account against account takeover and data breach. Jitt priority is your privacy and safety, but as security is the duty of everyone we highly recommend you to activate it as soon as possible.


Log in to your account

We need to access your account settings to set up your 2FA. If you are already logged in, you can click directly here.

On your device, continue the set up.

Download Google Authenticator on iOS or Android. Once installed, open the application and add a new website (click on the top right check mark)

After clicking on the icon, you should see a wizard that look similar or same to this below.

Scan or enter the key manually.

If you can't scan the QR code on your Jitt account, you can manually enter the key that is found below the QR code. After entering one of these options, you're almost all set. Now we need to return back on your computer.

Verify your 2FA setup

Enter the newly generated code found on your Google Authenticator application to verify the set up and click on Update.

This will allow to make sure the 2FA is properly set up.

Disable your 2FA

To disable you 2FA, please just select No instead of Yes on this step.

Need help recovering your account?

In order to reset the 2FA, you'll need to request a password reset. This will automatically disable the 2FA. You'll need to enroll again if you want to continue using it.

If you are unable to log in to your account after doing a password reset, please fill out this form. This form is only for assistance about 2FA. An answer should be sent within 1-3 business days.
